The eight-generation Toyota Camry progresses to the new TNGA platform with an all-new cabin and host of new features. In India, the vehicle is offered in a single hybrid variant. The vehicle gets a sharp design that the company prefers calling as the ‘Keen Look’ design language.

The new Camry features sleek and swept-back LED headlamps with a three-bar boomerang shaped DRLs. The gaping grille gives it an aggressive stance over its predecessor. The sleek and elongated sides with 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels complement the sporty fascia. The rear gets a sleek pair of tail lights that gives it a European appeal.

As for the interior, the new Camry is offered with a new set of features and design highlights. The all-black interior gets ambient lighting and a nine-speaker JBL music system. As for features, the vehicle comes with memory function for driver’s seat, three-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control and wireless charging. The centre console is highlighted by a new eight-inch touchscreen system. Safety features includes 10 airbags, ABS with EBD and more.

Mechanically, the new Toyota Camry is powered by a 2.5-litre hybrid-petrol powertrain that produces a combined power output of 215bhp and 221Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed CVT transmission and the power is sent to the front wheels.
